My students need a magnetic dry erase board in order to promote participation. Many students who have allergies to dust do not participate as much as they could.
Imagine how much fun it would be to increase class participation through games such as fun spelling, numbers and other games using magnetic numbers and letters. Kids with allergies to dust would be thrilled!
My eighth grade students love to learn Spanish and French.
They love to show what they know through not only participating orally but also by going to the board. The magnetic dry erase board would promote student participation when they volunteer to go spell out a word or show the time using magnetic textiles with the new magnetic dry erase board.
My Project
So many more students would be willing to join in the fun with the magnetic dry erase board. Sticky chalk would be gone and less sneezing would occur! Participation improves their learning and help them to be better language learners. Using magnetic spinners, letters, numbers and sentence strips promotes a fun, learning environment which promotes a well developed World Language classroom of students.
This request would make a huge difference in student participation because students who are allergic to chalk dust would find it easier to volunteer using the dry erase board and games.
Developing that confidence in the classroom will allow them to feel more a part of the World Language experience.
