Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work for a Title I school and love the students that I get to welcome, love and have them engaged in learning science. My students are my little gifts from above. I not only want them to love science but also, I have many different types of animals in my classroom that the students learn to love and care for. Even when the students have had a bad morning, when they come to my classroom they are excited and ready to learn.

My Project

Students use technology more and more these days and I only have 4 computers in the classroom with up to twenty-two students in 4 different classes so these tablets will allow the students more opportunities to use the on line STEMSCOPES program to learn more about science and complete their assignments. They will also have more opportunities to do their xtra math and take AR tests to become stronger at math and reading. They will have more opportunities to use them for researching for their science projects during class time. I have seen other teachers use them not only during class time but also while waiting for morning announcements and would love to make every moment matter.
