My students need a Laptop for Literacy Center and Math Center. Today's world is all digital and so I want them to be tech kids.

My Students

My students are special because they are eager learners. They come from an impoverished area with little exposure to cultural diversity. They have little to no access to books outside of school, and they have little to no technology in their homes. The students in my class have been adversely affected by hurricane Matthew and slowly they are getting back on track. Most have lost everything, except their desire to learn. They are happy at school. They enjoy all types of activities and learning experiences. Any help is appreciated. My children are engaged in daily lessons and few Calulators will give them rigor to my instruction.

My Project

As a teacher I want to enable my students to be tech savvy and be ready for 21st Century. Children come from backgrounds where there are many members at home sharing a single device so I want the technology in our classrooms. Math/Language Art Center's are part of our daily rotuines. Children are engaged and there is lot of rigor in our classrooms.

A laptop is an important tool where children will be independent learners and enjoy the activity at the same time.

Children are exicted about new gazettes every time we get donations and show there greatefulness in there learning and producing projects with the equipment.
