Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year the students will be having a masquerade theme dance. In order to keep costs down so that all students can participate we have the dance in the school cafeteria.
We want to turn the cafeteria into a magical atmosphere with table clothes, hanging decorations, backdrop for the photos and beautiful tableware.
There will also be a selection of masks for any students who came to the dance without them.
The 8th grade dance is one of the activities that the students look forward to as a right of passage before high school and we try to make it as memorable as possible.
