This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Adding these leaf-canopies to our elementary school library will add to the forest theme and help create a magical space for students. These large canopy leaves will hang high from columns that are spread throughout our library.

When students come to the library, I want them to feel inspired and excited to look for books that will feed their love for reading.

My goal is to make our school library feel welcoming and magical for our wonderful students. They deserve to have a fun and creative space where they are welcome, accepted, and can browse a diverse collection of books.
