This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading time is the most enrichment part of the day. The students all gathered in the classroom library ready to have their imagination going. I like to create a welcome environment where we do not only read, but we interact and discuss all together what we are reading. Having a big enough classroom rug can allow all the students to feel included and welcome in this magical space.

Pocket Charts are a must in a classroom since they allow you to create a Word Wall to enrich the student's vocabulary.

A word wall allows students to have an interactive place to learn, given them the independence and autonomy they need.

It is also very important to teach students organizational and responsibility skills. Therefore, chair organizers can be of great help to keep the classroom organized.
