My Students

I work in an inner city school in Providence, Rhode Island. I have twenty-six students in my class. Many of them receive either free or reduced-price lunch.

This year of school is the first for many of my students, and I want them to be excited about learning.

I want them to love school and be happy to come every day. Technology is a great way to get them hooked on learning and for them to know that the sky is the limit. I am excited about this project, and I know they will be too!

My Project

Our kindergarten classroom needs a new rug. Right now our class sits on the cold tile floor for group instruction. It will also be a great place to relax and read a book or work on small group activities. This rug is big enough for my whole class. It has thirty individual spots for them. It’s a beautiful bright blue with circle spots. Our district is not in the financial position to help with getting our classroom a rug so please consider helping my little people get off the cold floor and onto a warm cozy rug. Thank you so much for considering our project.
