Mrs. Chancellor from Macon GA is requesting art supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a Silhouette Cameo die-cut and Heat press for project based learning.

As the school media specialist, I have the privilege of working with every student and teacher in the building. My students are anxious to learn and love using technology. They are innovative, energetic, independent, and extremely smart!
Recently, Howard Middle School was named a "Georgia Breakout School of the Year" as we increase student achievement through creative learning opportunities.
We are one of the largest schools in our district, therefore serve a large, diverse population of people in our community. My school is very supportive and open to trying new things to engage our students.
The Silhouette Cameo and heat press will allow me to develop more project based learning at Howard Middle School in the Media Center. Students will be able to create educational posters, manipulatives, bulletin boards, labels for supplies and procedures, displays for school projects, and unique school spirit products. Teachers will be able to add more details and creativity to the displays around school and in the classroom making it more engaging and exciting for our students.
The Silhouette gives students a resource to showcase and honor their creativity in their classroom and throughout our school and community.
My hope is that students will also gain entrepreneur skills through their access to these incredible resources. By creating unique items and selling them in our school spirit shop they can learn financial literacy skills while raising money for our school to purchase more interactive resources like these!
