My Project

My class of first graders love to learn with hands on activities, and they get excited about most things, but especially by NEW things. Adding in some new tools will give my students a fresh excitement for math.

Math becomes even more fun when students have appealing hands on materials to use in their learning.

My students immediately notice anything that is new or different in the classroom each day. Their interest is heightened, and they are immediately curious if they spot something fresh.

Having new learning materials like colorful timers that they can use themselves and engaging math books to read aloud will bring fresh excitement to our math block.
