My students need access to an Apple Macbook to foster their creativity in mathematics!

Determined, strong willed, hardworking and resilient are just a few ways I can describe my students. My students, mainly African American and Hispanic, are all overcomers. They come to class with their personal struggles and yet they still strive for success. Most students, roughly 75-80% receive free or reduced lunch.
My students come to school having limited resources at home, which is difficult as they are being prepared for high stakes exams and most importantly, the 21st century.
This school year I am hoping to rearrange my classroom in such a way that technology and basic supplies are readily available to them. Students will be using online resources such as ixl.com, deltamath.com, etc... to help close achievement gaps.
I am requesting an Apple Macbook. My students are very creative and innovative young people. However, they sometimes complain that they do not have the resources to make their learning more engaging, interactive and just plain old fun! With this new technology, they will have access to iMovie (to create engaging videos on mathematical topics) Google classroom (to make the materials more accessible) and Keynote for more enticing presentations.
The Macbook will increase classroom productivity and heighten student curiosity.
This computer's powerful software can cater to creative projects and allow students skills to increase. Students will have access to online resources such as IXL (an online site that enhances specific Common Core mathematical skills), Algebra Nation (an online one-on-one tutorial service) and many more.
