My Students

I teach an amazing group of 5th graders in NYC. They are part of our school's Gifted and Talented program. They are bright, eager to learn, and love to be challenged! They get excited about new ideas, projects, and explorations!

My Project

In this unprecedented time, teachers find themselves teaching and engaging their students in BRAND NEW ways! What was once my own children's playroom is now my virtual classroom. I am rethinking and reworking everything I knew to be true about teaching and connecting with my students.

What has become painfully apparent through this remote experience is that first and foremost, if I don't have a reliable and stable device to use, any connections I am trying to make will be lost.

A new MacBook will help me reach my students without the technical interruptions the slower and older computer I have been using has created.

We are creating a whole new learning curriculum of virtual interaction and engagement. It would be extraordinary for my students to experience the very best of what they deserve.
