Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are amazing, unique learners who are all different and special in their own ways. They all come with different stories, experiences and learning styles. Regardless of what their backgrounds or home lives may be, one thing is for certain, they love to come to school and learn. School is their safe place, their place where they feel part of a family and a place where their possibilities are endless.

My students face so many obstacles and uncertainties that having the right tools provides them with opportunities that they may never get outside of the classroom.

My students' love of learning and excitement when they come to school makes them so inspiring. Their outlook on the world and how they interact at school makes them so special and unique. I love and am proud to teach each and every one of my students.

My Project

This is the time of year when students get sick, ALOT! Lysol wipes are essential to keep my student germ free so they can be at school learning.

With a clean room, from Lysol wipes, and an organized room, from Ziploc, my students healthy learning will soar!

We need Ziploc bags to keep our learning areas organized. We use the galloon bags as reading bags so that my student can bring books home to read each night. We also use them to transport their items for when they do not have a backpack. The tape is essential for taping items around the room, taping down their names tags, and so much more!
