My Project

I love my Neurodivergent students for their resilience, their individuality, and the way they celebrate even the smallest successes with genuine pride. Each child brings a unique way of thinking, learning, and interacting with the world. Many of my students with autism, behavioral needs, and developmental delays face challenges that are not always visible, yet they come to school each day ready to try again. Their growth may look different from their peers, but it is meaningful, hard-earned, and worth celebrating. Watching a student communicate a need, regulate an emotion, or solve a problem independently for the first time is incredibly powerful.

Because my students learn in diverse ways, they need resources that are hands-on, structured, and responsive to their individual needs, reducing frustration and increasing engagement.

Social-emotional and behavior supports, including calm-down tools, sensory items, and self-regulation resources, help students develop the skills they need to manage their emotions and participate successfully in the classroom.

Each of these resources chosen for my project are not just tools—they are bridges. A bridge to communication, independence, confidence, and academic growth. With the right supports in place, my students will be able to thrive, build meaningful skills, and take important steps toward lifelong success.
