Low Level Readers are Slipping Through the Cracks!
My students need a set of leveled readers lessons. I have the first-grade lesson by Harcourt and they are so comprehensive! I will be purchasing the books that go along with it.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My classroom is student centered and inviting with creative student work on display. Our principal and teachers work hard to provide the best environment for our students.
My students are wonderful!
They are eager to learn and come prepared to school with fantastic attitudes! There is no more money left to spend on the needed resources for the active and intelligent minds of our student body. Yet, we thrive everyday because of the determination of the educators and youngsters that make our school so great!
My Project
Please donate these sets of guided reading lessons for my lower readers. I will be able to teach guided reading groups that are on their reading level. My low level readers need the basics before they can read the higher level books that I have in the classroom. I know that Harcourt Storytown makes great lessons that really reinforce phonics, comprehension and writing.
This would mean so much to my students to know that there are people in this world that care enough to help them.
We deserve fair treatment and the resources that affluent communities get. Please help fund our project.
