Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching children about nature and our earth from a young age helps them develop a sense of responsibility and passion for the world around them. It lays the groundwork growing children will need to understand the scientific issues that will affect them throughout their lives.

Educating young minds is the most powerful catalyst for change.

As we teach students the importance of taking care of the environment, we teach them that they are the future that will preserve the earth and land which we live on. Education is very powerful when it is engaging and enjoyable!

This project is designed to get students excited about learning about the environment. Students will be able to design a rock to inspire others to take care of the earth, they will make a butterfly craft and a wood ornament, plant their own bean seed and watch it grow, and encourage others to show love to the earth by giving them flower seeds to plant. They will make color changing bracelets with UV beads as they put them in the sun!

Students will also learn about earth day and how they can take care of the earth by recycling with a fun story. They will have fun celebrating the earth with an earth day party!
