My Students

My students are some of the most inspirational and strong-willed kids I have ever met. My class is made up of nine students in grades kindergarten through second grade with cognitive impairments. Their drive to learn and succeed is something to admire. They strive to do their best every day. In addition, they are always wanting to create positive relationships with peers and teachers. My class is full of students who will truly impact our community for the better in the future.

My Project

Please help provide my students hands-on materials to aid in their learning of letter sounds. These letter sound tubs with the organizational stand would be a wonderful addition to our classroom. Teaching letters is a fundamental skill that often requires a great deal of resources to help the students in my classroom achieve mastery.

Providing hands-on materials, like these tubs, gives my students a mutli-sensory approach to learning as well as keeps them engaged!

The materials within the tubs are easy for my students to hold as well as are easy to clean and organize to be used on a daily basis. Overall, these tubs would greatly impact the learning of my students with special needs!
