Loving Learning Centers

Help me give my students new supplies for our learning centers. We would love to have new baby dolls, clothing, and bottles for our housekeeping centers.

My Students

My students each come from different backgrounds around the small town of New Zion, SC. Many of my students come to school with smiles on their faces and are ready to learn.

However, our school has one of the lowest funding ratios in the state.

As a Title I school in Clarendon County, we have around 55% of our students that receive free or reduced lunch. The poverty rate is estimated at approximately 70%. Our elementary serves students from prekindergarten through fifth grade. Despite low funding, WGE remains capable of providing students with everything they need in order to be successful in the future through love and support. The students in my classroom will one day be the future. I believe that they are something worth investing in.

My Project

My students are in need of basic supplies to help rebuild our learning centers. Many of the items that are currently used in our centers are old and have been handed down from other teachers. These items have been breaking and are in very bad shape. We are in need of some new items in our centers so students can stay engaged and remain excited about learning through centers. We are hoping to have this project funded in order to put new baby dolls, dress up clothes, animals, and letter recognition games in our learning centers. Students love center time and it is unfortunate that many of our current supplies and activities are falling apart. With your help, we are hoping to rebuild a few of our learning centers by updating the supplies that go in them!
