My Students

I teach 3rd grade Language Arts at an AMAZING elementary school! Several of our students are even second and third generation because of our outstanding reputation as a place of Leading, Learning, and Respecting All!

Our school's ambiance of leadership and student input is evident the moment one enters the building.

We have a family community of older students guiding and engaging with younger ones. Our third graders are just entering the "big kid" hall, and it is so fun to watch them take on their new leadership positions. It is an awesome family environment and a great place to be!

My Project

Language arts is the basis of all other learning! I love to engage my students through hands-on, fun, and interactive methods when it comes to learning language arts. I also want them to have social interaction, which is missing from most of the technology in our classrooms today.

Face-to-face fun & games while learning is what I am seeking for my classroom.

Through the Reading and Writing Skills folder games, Can Do! Reading Games, and Daily Language Practice Journals, I hope to hold my students not only to a high standard of language arts learning, but also to a high level of social learning, problem-solving, and cooperative learning.
