My Students

Our students grow and thrive in a small-town atmosphere. The tight-knit community provides a wonderful environment for students to make meaningful connections with the teachers and classmates.

A large percentage of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

Job opportunities are not plentiful and many families live below the poverty line. Our school is a safe haven for our students.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds with a diverse set of academic and behavioral needs. Because they face so many challenges at home, my goal is to create a safe and loving environment for them to learn and thrive in.

My Project

My first grade students are intelligent and innovative. They love to learn new things. A new Lenovo laptop would help these little learners to expand their world! We love to research new topics, read books about what we are studying and play games to enrich our learning. We have limited technology in our classroom. A laptop would create a new station in which students can learn and grow!

Because they face so many challenges at home, my goal is to create a safe and loving environment for them to learn and thrive in. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home. We are slowly increasing the amount of technology in our classroom, one device at a time. A Lenovo laptop would reach so many more children who are visual learners and need material to be reviewed in a different way! A laptop would allow more children to have access to technology to balance out the learning options available. Computers should not be the sole means of instruction, but what an awesome way to enrich a classroom with creative games, stories, and activities.
