Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are today's scholars and tomorrow's leaders who are curious, enthusiastic, creative, and eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge! In addition to academics, our students practice making positive human connections with daily choices that support R.I.S.E.—Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence, and they are recognized monthly for demonstrating these character traits.

My students practice speaking in front of the class regularly, and having this tool will assist students in practicing this skill, as well as allow others to hear more clearly.

We are requesting a small, portable amplifier to use in our classroom. Each student has a weekly, assigned ‘Reporter Day’ when they share out about the weekly topic. This sound system will help the speaker to be heard as pertinent information is provided.
