My Project

Responsibility for our actions and making connections with others are two essential parts of my class. Students have accountability charts in my class. They rate and note how on task they are through out our class. This has been an extremely effective tool for them. Classes are much smoother, and more work is getting done.

As a reminder of how hard they have been working, they earn small tokens they can be proud of.

Colorful shoelaces, cool water bottle stickers, and temporary tattoos are both incentives and reminders that they are working hard! When we meet for with a friend, we will often meet for coffee, right? Well, providing snacks also provides that ice breaker, casual time for students to connect with classmates they might not play with at recess. It is a great community building time.
