My Students

I have a group of English Language Learners that would benefit from a netbook during reading center rotations.

I teach a bright group of enthusiastic third grade students at an excelling charter school in Arizona.

My third graders learn best when lessons are interactive and fun at the same time. They love to learn and I love to provide them with the tools in order to make instruction easier for me and learning easier and more exciting for them.

My Project

My students would greatly benefit by having a netbook to utilize in the classroom. All of my students love to do hands-on activities that a netbook would allow them to do on a daily basis. Having a netbook would be very beneficial for my ELL students and keep the attention of students who struggle with focusing during different times of the day. Receiving a netbook will help to increase all of my third graders' reading, spelling, and phonics skills.

In my classroom each month we plan science or social studies based thematic units.

A netbook would be an excellent tool to connect my third grade students with what we are learning about. I feel that having the visual stimulation would increase deeper learning.
