Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are growing up in a low economic area, and it is vital to have the school supplies they need in order to stay competitive with other school districts.

These students show up to school with an enthusiasm for learning and would be grateful for any donations our classroom receives.

These donations would enhance the educational experience that these students are receiving and would help further their understanding of the materials that are being covered in class. Thank you so much for considering our classroom!

My Project

I try to teach positive behaviors to the students, and the school is implementing a positive behavior system this school year. In my classroom, I want to praise the students when I see them making a good choice, such as complimenting a friend or sharing supplies. These Star Student bracelets will be given out as a way to remind them and encourage them to keep it up! The Reading bracelets will be given out when the students move up a reading level. We use the RIGBY system, and the students are assessed a few times throughout the school year to track their growth. When they move up a letter, the bracelets will be a reminder of their hard work!
