This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, we like to have a Lending Library for our students to pick a book and bring home to read with their loved ones.

Utilizing a Lending Library in our classroom ensures that the student's learning extends to their house, in case they do not have access to developmentally appropriate books at home, that allow them to enhance their love for reading at home and school!

We do have some books for our Lending Library, but since there's a chance I can have my students for 2 years, they tend to read through all my Lending Library Books! That is why I am requesting a variety of books such as, "It's Okay to be Different" "Pete the Cat" as well as "The Monster Who Lost His Mean."
