Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We started this JV Prep team to reach more students to experience dance and cheer. In order to learn how to be a team, they have to learn to lose their individuality while being a part of the team.
The shorts and leggings will be used at least twice a week at practice, camp, as well as performances.
The warm-up jackets will be used at every event and during school throughout the year. These will keep them warm at events, and improve unity and school pride. We do not want the weather to keep these young athletes from supporting their classmates and showing off their skills. The materials will make a difference not directly in their school learning, but it will teach them life-lessons, and improve both unity and school pride.
