This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students come from low socio-economic families and are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. After last year's hurricane season, things became even more challenging. If I can in any way, I would like to provide them with the means they need to succeed.

Despite all the hardships that students encounter daily, they admirably still aim to succeed in school and in life.

My students are the bottom 25% academically but I strive to help them achieve and succeed.

My Project

My students need pretty much anything and everything when it comes to basic supplies. I have female students who literally can not afford to buy pads.

More delicate now with the flu season approaching.

All will only get more demanding.

Countless times I had students come to school with running nose week after week after week and tell me they can't afford to buy tissue paper. Use of disposable tissues and hand sanitizer are basic hygiene during flu season. But that's a luxury for most students in a tittle 1 school. The type of rough tissue they may find in the school's restroom after a while starts to hurt them.

The lectern and high chair will be implemented on our novella project. In this project, which we work through the year, students write their own novellas and frequently share their progress with the class. Many students have anxiety with public speaking. That will make them more at easy as well as improving their social skill..
