Help me give my students the gift of science! We are updating our stem center to provide our students with the ultimate experience. Staphylococcus epidermidis, Living, Tube will be apart of a handwashing lesson.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The students at our center are full of energy and life! They are all great friends to one another. They help each other out with projects and homework. Our school agers go from grades k-4th grade.
They love to do research of different places, planets, mountains, volcanoes, oceans and politics!
Our teachers work with them to encourage them to learn about things that they don't see on a daily basis. They are strategic in their learning and always ready to!
My Project
These materials will allow our teachers to help children understand science and how and why they can become sick do to poor handwashing skills. We will also explore DNA and RNA with our older students. Teachers will implement various lesson plans with the use of microscopes and magnifying glasses.
Our students will be wowed with all of the live specimens that we can view each week.
The students will also learn to observe and document how plants grow with the help of weather and atmosphere changes. Plants from our lesson plans will be grown and taken home in the spring.
