My Project

First graders love to sing and dance, and the materials from the "LOFTy Music" project will help them learn about music while having fun!

The "LOFTy Music" project will provide rhythm sticks, music posters, and a xylophone to help students learn about the elements of music, including rhythm, tempo, dynamics, and pitch, and will also get them moving and dancing.

The materials include enough rhythm sticks so that each student will be able to use pair of sticks and a set posters with music notations, staffs, notes, rests, time signature, accidentals, and clef signs. A xylophone is also included so that students can experiment with music.
