I would like my classroom to have a library full of books that will pique interests so that students will enjoy reading. Books should also be available at students' desks so that they have quick access to read books whenever there is time during transitions, rather than waiting and not doing anything. Each student will also have a bin of books at their desk for quick access. Due to COVID-19 distancing measures, we are adding teachers and classrooms to grade levels. I will be taking a first grade class and would like to build a library with a range of reading levels and interests to help foster interest and enjoyment of reading. The Leveled Classroom Library set requested includes a many titles to address this.
