My Project

My students are eager individuals that love to learn and develop their skills. They want nothing more than to learn and participate like their peers. The lockers in our buildings are currently located several hallways away from our classroom. Due to the varied level of needs and staffing, it is not always possible for us to access and assist students at these lockers.

However, utilizing lockers and learning to be responsible for their materials is a vital life skill that I am striving to cultivate.

Having a set of lockers in the classroom would give my students the opportunity to exercise and develop skills they will need for the rest of their lives. Not only that, they will be able to increase their independence and grow as individuals.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
