My Students

We care about our futures! In this fiscally troubling time, our high school students are aware of personal debits, rising rent and housing prices, increased cost of living, and standstill in wages. In our career technical education pathway, students are learning skills on how to be young, hard-working entrepreneurs that will help benefit their financial futures.

As young entrepreneurs, we believe entrepreneurship will benefit and help improve our society, communities and environment.

With a focus in human-centered design thinking, social entrepreneurship, sustainable thinking and innovation, students are developing skills in how business opportunities and ideas can make a lasting positive impact. Students learn real life skills that will set them to be successful, financially independent, and ethically responsible contributing members to society.

My Project

Learning about business comes alive in our Pop Up shops, DIY Workshops, and Wholesale to Retail lessons. Instead of sticking entrepreneurship in the classroom, students will learn how small businesses start from loan, buying, prototyping, market research, production to selling.

Students have amazing crafting skills that can be turned into a real business.

We would love to have our own workshop and maker's space where we can make items filled with love to sell at our Pop-Up Shops. We have learned how to turn DIY into a real business. From handmade cards, handcrafted candles, soaps and bath salts and lip balms, to fashionable buttons, we sell all our items on campus and around the neighborhood. Help us build our Maker's Space so we can better fulfill orders during class time!
