Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students are highly motivated STEM scholars who come from very diverse backgrounds. They represent many different cultures and socioeconomic levels but all have one thing in common - a passion for education.

We are a public elementary school that emphasizes STEM.

We face the same challenges that afflict all public schools - lack of funding. Our students are eager and ready to learn we just lack some of the tools to help facilitate that learning.

My Project

Our camcorder project was graciously funded and now we are trying to get the last of what is needed for videos and live streaming.

We need several video lights as well as a capture device so that we can live stream video and create movies to showcase our STEM scholars and their projects/assignments.

We have a great camcorder for making movies and live streaming but we need a video capture device to actually make live streaming a reality. This will directly impact distance learning and students learning from their homes.
