I teach language arts in an urban middle school. Most of my students have access to only the most basic technology, if any. We need a color printer, ink, and paper so that they may create work that is on the same level as their more affluent peers.

Through out the year my students have to complete many projects. Since most do not have the latest technological resources at home, it falls on the schools to fill in the gap. Lack of funds should not hold these students back from presenting their work in the most attractive manner.

If we could get a color printer along with ink and paper for our classroom, my students would have the ability to unleash their creative power for creating projects and presentations on the same level as their more affluent peers in the suburbs.

Help my students walk into the 21st Century with their heads held high. The ability to create beautiful bright colored work will give them the self confidence to believe anything is possible.
