Little Things Make a Big Difference

Help me give my students opportunities to have fun while they learn along with providing supplies to encourage non-paper-pencil participation using dry-erase boards, comfy floor seats, dry-erase markers, magnetic letters, and more.

My Project

I have a great class that loves to learn and interact with each other and me. We are in need of new whiteboards. The ones we have are old and do not erase well. We are also nearly out of dry-erase markers. These tools allow them to all give individual feedback during a lesson which increases engagement and helps me quickly assess their knowledge and understanding. The flex seating helps my students that have a hard time sitting still and focusing. And I chose several games and magnetic letters that would enhance their hands-on learning during centers.

Everything asked for was chosen with great thought as to how it can be a benefit to the class.

A laminator, laminating pouches, and cardstock will help me create multiple reusable lessons/activities and use paper more sparingly to help our school finances. The Big Money can help me effectively teach money skills and the visual countdown timer will be great for my students that have difficulty with understanding time management or get frustrated when they want to be finished with something and need to know how much longer we have to do it. The pencil top erasers and pencils are a must for the writing that we must do daily on paper. The buzzers are so we can do more interactive game-type lessons to increase engagement and learning. The card shuffler will free me up to help students instead of shuffling cards when we use them for math games. Nothing was chosen without thought and planning as to how it is needed and will be used to positively affect my classroom learning.
