My Project

My Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom is filled with our school's youngest, most enthusiastic learners. These preschool-aged children are navigating both early development and unique developmental milestones. They are sensory seekers, explorers, and joyful discoverers who learn entirely through movement and hands-on interaction. Because they are so young, setting them up for a lifetime of school success means giving them an early environment tailored perfectly to their little bodies and big sensory needs.

In our ECSE classroom, foundational seating and fine motor exploration are everything.

Our little ones need specific, sturdy furniture that fits their bodies safely while allowing for the movement that their growing brains require to process the world. This project provides our youngest special education students with therapeutic seating and tactile tools.

How the Items Will Help

Early Childhood Therapeutic Seating: Traditional chairs don't provide the sensory input or physical support our toddlers need. The Cube Chairs offer sturdy, secure boundaries for table time. The Bean Bags and Rocking Chair provide cozy, soothing pressure, while the Spinning Chairs let them safely fulfill their need for vestibular movement, which improves core strength and attention spans.

Early intervention is incredibly powerful. By providing these specialized seating options and tools, you are giving my preschool special education students the best possible start to their academic journeys. You are helping them learn how to sit comfortably, focus completely, and love coming to school. Thank you for supporting our littlest learners!
