My Project
I love how my pre-k students just dive into learning and are ready to engage with the world around them! With this in mind, I strive to make our classroom a print rich environment that they can explore and build their emerging literacy skills. My students have access to engaging books and reading materials in the classroom and have the opportunity to check out books from the school library.
It's my goal to foster a love of reading but many of my students do not have access to quality reading materials at home.
A subscription to Scholastic My Big World pre-k readers is an amazing way for me to provide my students with both school and home access to quality reading material. Each month students will receive two readers along with daily school and home access to online nonfiction resources. We can explore these readers together in school and then I can send them home to be enjoyed with their families. This is a wonderful opportunity to support student success and bridge the gap between home and school learning! Thank you for considering a donation to my project in support of early readers!
