Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In the past students grew up learning about technology and the benefits it had on society. Today, students learn through technology and learn first hand what the benefits are. This is especially true for young learners that learn through play and music.
My students are Bilingual and in a low socioeconomic school.
All the students receive either free or reduced lunch and very few own a computer at home. For many of my students, this is their first exposure to school and look to me to provide them with every opportunity possible. When students walk into my classroom they are ready to learn through music, technology, and movement allowing all learners to be reached.

My students need access to more starfall.com because it has so much to offer. By getting a school membership students throughout my school can benefit from the website. We have been using starfall.com for many years and the students not only learn but also enjoy every activity that is presented. More.starfall.com is aligned with the common core standards and provide unlimited opportunities for students to learn and grow throughout the various grade levels.
As a teacher I try to engage my students through every way possible and for many of my students school is the only place where technology is available to them.
