This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our little learners learn best about the environment through the use of many STEAM activities when we visit our little garden. We learn to plant by using recycled items such as milk cartons, coffee cake bowls, and half cut water bottles to plant seeds. Their eyes light up to see the bean, grass, and flower seeds that have sprouted and can not believe they had a part in the growth of plants. Their curiosity continues with questions about what will happen next to the sprouted plants.

Our learning stalls as we have no gardening tools to help transplant our new sprouts in our garden plots and continue the exploration of plant growth.

Our little learners need tools to help plant their new plants. These much needed gardening tools and transporting wagon will allow our little learners to continue exploring our environment with their hand held tools. Please help us to inspire a future scientist.
