My Project

My first-grade classroom is filled with eager young learners who thrive when they have engaging, hands-on resources that encourage active participation. The materials requested through this project will help create an organized, interactive, and student-centered learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

The Storex Wiggle Stool will provide flexible seating that allows students who need movement to stay focused and engaged during small-group instruction and independent work.

Active seating helps improve attention, concentration, and learning for many young children.

The 4K USB Document Camera will make lessons more interactive by allowing me to clearly display books, student work, handwriting demonstrations, math strategies, and science activities for the entire class. This technology will ensure every student has a clear view of instruction.

The dry erase clipboards, individual dry erase boards, reusable write-and-wipe pockets, and bulk dry erase markers will support daily practice in reading, writing, spelling, phonics, and math. These reusable materials encourage student participation while reducing paper waste and allowing for immediate feedback during instruction.

The plastic take-home folders will strengthen communication between home and school by helping students safely transport homework, important notices, and completed assignments. Consistent communication with families is an essential part of student success.

Finally, the classroom storage caddies will keep instructional materials organized and easily accessible for small-group learning, literacy centers, and collaborative activities. An organized classroom allows students to work more independently and maximizes valuable instructional time.

By supporting this project, donors will provide my students with the tools they need to stay engaged, build confidence, practice essential academic skills, and develop a love of learning. These resources will be used every day to create meaningful learning experiences that benefit each child throughout the school year. Thank you for investing in the future of my first-grade students!
