Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are absolutely the best! They are vibrant, energetic, delightful four-year-olds of all different learning abilities. They attend school with big smiles and are eager to learn and have fun. I teach pre-kindergarten on the border with Mexico and some of our students are of low income and are bilingual. I love providing my students with positive learning experiences. I want all my students to be able to strive academically in a safe and positive learning environment.

My Project

Each year, my paraprofessional and I try to get snacks and other goodies to have a class friendship party during the month of February. We love to celebrate love, friendship, and care, especially during the pandemic. This pandemic has caused many unforeseen issues and shortages with food and other items. These snacks will help ensure that my students get lots of love, and care during the month of love and friendship! These items will be used in a snack basket given to the children on Valentine's Day so that they can enjoy! Please help us warm up our students hearts and show them just how much we care!
