Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are Pre-K special needs students who are full of energy, love, and life. They are talkative, love to learn, build, and explore. They also enjoy dressing up and cooking in creative play.

Our children have a wide range of unique talents and abilities that highlight the unique individuals they are, from asking engaging questions to sharing their life experiences!

They are such a joy, and I love each of them. You will not be disappointed supporting this wonderful group of children.

My Project

Play is an essential part of the growth and development of early learning, including sand play. These resources are colorful and engaging and will allow for a renewed interest in our sand table. Sand play allows for little hands to be strengthened as they manipulate the sand through digging, squeezing, and molding.

The Kinetic sand will allow for increased sensory exploration for all of my students, but especially for those with Autism.

The numbers will reinforce counting and number recognition and the the ice cream scoops will help with fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and vocabulary. The top will allow us to maintain the sand and tools in a safe space, as not to waste it. My students will learn and have fun with these sand tools.
