My Students

I am the lucky teacher of 17 kindergarten students. We are learning together on zoom right now which is a challenge to keep high engagement for beginning learners. They are doing amazing with the many obstacles families are faced with.

My Project

These VTech writing boards will help my kindergarten students practice reading and writing letters and sounds with hands-on materials in the distance learning format. We will develop confident readers and writers.

Children need to be actively engaged in their instruction and this has been a challenge over zoom.

With motivating materials, I am going to expand their understanding of writing and fine motor learning while I encourage and model for them.

I feel strongly that children need to be excited to explore and create in the early childhood setting. Thank you!
