Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My pre-K students are naturally curious, creative, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences. Every day, they explore the world by asking questions, experimenting, and expressing themselves in unique ways. As a first-year teacher, I want to create a welcoming classroom where every child has the opportunity to learn, imagine, and build confidence through creativity.

A fully stocked art center will give my students endless opportunities to learn through creativity and play.

Paint, paintbrushes, Play-Doh, crayons, markers, and other art materials will help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage problem-solving, support early writing development, and give students a safe space to express their thoughts and emotions. These hands-on experiences also foster collaboration, communication, and confidence as students create alongside their classmates.

My goal is to provide engaging materials that inspire a lifelong love of learning while helping my students reach important developmental milestones. Your generosity will help transform our art center into a place where imagination flourishes, creativity is celebrated, and every child has the tools they need to succeed.
