Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be returning to the world of teaching the littles, Transitional Kinder specifically. I am super excited to be back to give them the best experience of their new journey in school! I will be teaching 24 students at a Title 1 school, and they will get the best experience that we can give them, with your help, of course!

I want to focus on discovery, sensory, play, and fun!

The age group is perfect to discover and explore their curiosities in a safe space. I want to have opportunities of sensory and discovery that will be led with the Light Sensory Table, Tray, and Materials. I want to keep the students active with a variety of outside play tools such as the Basketball Hoop, Playballs, and Activity Scarves. I want to enrich their creative side with the Paint Cups, a variety of brushes, and Dabbers. It’s a variety of items that I want to enhance their experience at school; it’s to heighten their FIRST year of school! Let's create a space together to allow them to grow into their big futures. It starts now!
