This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our class will be using the gardening supplies to create our own class garden. We will use the Delta Education Gardening Hand Tools Set to get our soil ready for our plants. We will use the Burpee Organic Coconut Coir Concentrated Seed Starting Mix to grow our plants. The EAST OAK Outdoor Storage Box Storage Bin and Suncast 22 Gallon Small Resin Storage will be used to store our gardening tools and supplies. We will use the Seed Starter Tray with T8 Grow Light and portable greenhouse to start our seedlings for our garden.

We will use the materials to learn how to grow plants and about their life cycle.

We will place our seedlings in our class garden and watch them grow. We will measure and observe our plants grow. We will consume the products of our labor for snack.
