My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, I have learned that a wonderful way to teach acceptance and appreciation of differences is through reading aloud quality children's literature. I want to read stories to my children that mirror who they are, physically and culturally, and use these stories as springboards for conversations about race.

Please help me create a classroom community that is based upon love and acceptance of the cultural differences that exist among us.
