My Project

My kinder students are hands-on learners! They need literacy centers to build and strengthen their reading skills to help set their reading foundation and be able to be successful readers in the future. Literacy centers give multiple opportunities for children to read, write, and participate in meaningful literacy experiences. Literacy centers also build students' confidence and expose them to the magic of literature. Literacy centers also allow for small group learning opportunities which help build effective social skills in children. Literacy centers are a vital part of a kindergarten literacy curriculum.

As a Kindergarten teacher, I need more hands-on materials for our literacy centers.

I want my students to be actively engaged in learning, and I know these manipulatives will be used daily in helping to achieve this goal.These resources will enhance students learning and allow students to learn at their own pace in a relaxed environment.

My students will greatly benefit through these literacy/ math centers because they will learn at their own pace in the centers. With your help it will be possible to increase my students' interest in learning and strengthen their learning ability!
