Pandas are not only cute and cuddly but are also very motivating to our students! We would love to celebrate the joy of learning with the theme of pandas. Many of our students absolutely loved learning about trees at the beginning of the school year and when they first heard that pandas like to climb trees, they were so excited and to this day they are still asking questions about pandas and would love for this project to become a reality.
Please help us educate our students about good manners like: please, thank you, waiting patiently, feelings and love in a fun way using the books with illustrations of pandas.
We just know that these books would be well loved by our class. The author Steve Anthony has such fun books that would continue to help us excite our students about story time. Included in this project are books about manners, a book highlighting how we can be peaceful like pandas, and a fun book that will help us teach about different textures. The plush panda will be the perfect addition to our calm area and provide a hug for our students that need them! The panda keychains will be placed on each child's backpack to remind our students about our story, Peaceful Like a Panda Bear. The finger puppets will help our students reenact our stories during free Choice Time.
The materials in this project will help reignite the joy of learning that will help our students continue their panda loving journey as we finish up our school year.
