My Project

I currently work in a title I elementary school and many students don’t have the opportunity to experience technology in a healthy way. As a 1st grade teacher, this use of technology will allow me to help students explore new ways to learn reading an math. Using technology during small group instruction will give students a chance to work closely with different apps and programs geared towards their reading level.

Providing this technology will be an engaging, hands on experience for students to help enhance their critical thinking skills.

Use of engaging technology will also allow students to develop higher reasoning skills, improved mathematical, reading and writing skills as well.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
