Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students are their different personas. They all come from different backgrounds and so have their families. I love to hear their stories to better understand who is in the classroom and how to prepare for my daily lessons.

A culture of literacy is important not only to me, but to our next generation.

With these new books, it will advance their thinking, allow for imagination, and overall, help them in their future endeavors. I believe my students will accomplish many things in their future careers, but literacy is key in all aspects of their future.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
